Question about AM335x L2 Memory

Hi,

I have a question about AM335x L2 memory.

1.Is L2 memory configured as cache and enabled after POR?
I want to know the default configuration after POR.

2.Is there any method to change L2 Cache configuration for DDR3 area,
like Memory Attribution Register(MAR)?

3.Does ROM Bootloader set MMU and L1/L2 Cache configuration?

Hi g.f,

Your first two questions concern the ARM Cortex-A8 core, L2 memory being part of it. The ARM Cortex-A8 Technical Reference Manual can be found on the ARM site: http://arm.com/.

The ROM code start-up and configuration is described in section 26.1.4 of the AM335X TRM, Rev. I. The ROM code performs no MMU and cache configuration (see subsection 26.1.4.2)
