ubuntu image for omap4

Dear TI member,

We have downloaded the ubuntu source codes for omap4 from this website "https://launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux-ti-omap4/3.5.0-233.49".

and we do not find development guides to describe how to build it and make uImage file.

Could you offer any information to us?

thank you for the information.

we have tried to run it,

but it does not work.

when we entered the command "do_tools=false skipabi=true skipmodule=true dpkg-buildpackage -B -aarmel -uc -us", we got the error message "arm-linux-gnueabihf-gcc command not found".

and then we followed the other procedure "http://blog.xuite.net/yang44/omap4460/57609252-PandaBoard+ES+uboot+howto".

by the procedure, we created the MLO, u-boot.img and u-boot.bin successfully.

after we saved these files into SD card and inserted the card into PandaBoard ES, we powered on the board.

normally, there is information shown on the console, but we did not see any information.

is there anyone to give us suggestions?

I think the Wiki is very clear on how to setup the toolchain, you obviously didn't get it right.
