Hi,
As for now I'm running multiple system with SDXC I(UHS-I) 64GB with OMAP3. I want to know if there is any risk related to do this since:
As describe in the OMAP35x Technical Reference Manual (Re. X) (spruf98x.pdf) in section:
22.1.1 MMC/SD/SDIO Features
• Full compliance with MMC command/response sets as defined in the Multimedia Card System
Specification, v4.2 including high-capacity (size > 2GB) cards HC MMC.
• Full compliance with SD command/response sets as defined in the SD Memory Card Specifications,
v2.0 including high-capacity SDHC cards up to 32GB.
Also, the sdcard.org says that it's ok to use SDXC with spec 2.0:
https://www.sdcard.org/developers/overview/bus_speed/
more precisely:
High Speed | SD, SDHC and SDXC | --- | 25MB/s | 2.00 |
and
https://www.sdcard.org/consumers/speed/speed_class/
1- So does the OMAP3 host controller for MMC have a limitation supporting the UHS-I SDXC card?
2- Will you recommend only SDXC 64GB class 10 (spec version 2.0) and not SDXC UHS-1 (spec version 3.0)? Is there a limit?
thanks,
