DSK6713 quit working, USB busy LED on

Hi all,

I too experience same problem [as this thread, sort of]. But my power supply is fine i.e. none of the parts are getting heated. Instead USB BUSY led(DS201) is active all the time right from i switch on the board.

From technical reference i found DS201 will be high(Green) USB Active, Blinks during USB data transfer only.

Out of 10 kits 6 have same problem and 4 are working fine.

All kits were found working 2 weeks ago.

Please advise

a. What have you plugged into these boards? Have these boards being modified?

b. How are they being powered ?

c. How are the boards being used ?

We need more info to root cause the problem.

These are used in college for lab purpose. I am not sure what had been connected to these boards.

Its powered using the power cord and regulator that comes along with the kit

Used for educational purpose only

I think it is best we start the EVM repair procedure, would you please use the link I provided earlier to start the repair process?
