C674x, question about overshoot/undershoot

Hello,

One of my customer has a question about overshoot/undershoot on C674x platform.
For example, c6747 datasheet (4.1 Absolute Maximum Ratings Over Operating Case Temperature Range)
implies that overshoot would be allowed upto (DVDD + 20%).
This makes me understand understoot would be allowed upto -DVDD*0.2, but datasheet does not mention about it explicitly.

Can I assume undershoot can be upto -DVDD*0.2 on C674x platform ?

Kawada-san,

The datasheet specifies one value for both overshoot and undershoot--I am looking at sprs377e. It's 20% of DVDD for up to 20% of the cycle. This is saying that it can overshoot OR undershoot by 20% of DVDD.

Can you say the same for C672x(DA7x)?
I'd like to also know the C672x overshoot/undershoot specification.

It's 20% of DVDD for up to 20% of the cycle? But there is no description in C672x datasheet.

Takao-san,

As you noted, it doesn't look like we have specified this for C672x. I think the best we can do is point to the absolute maximum in/out value (-0.3V to DVDD + 0.5V) and note that per the data manual, "Exposure to absolute-maximum-rated conditions for extended periods may affect device reliability."
