I am striving to interate a jpeg encoder in a codec engine/server on the dm6441 platform.
I succeed to create the engine, but when I need to IMGENC_create the jpeg encoder, it always fail, and it tells me (using CE_DEBUG=2) that ... it just fails. Everything runs ok until the VISA_create / VISA_create2 function on the DSP. They just return failure.
Worse, there is a motion jpeg demo on ti website, but all the build process of the engine/server is not included in the tar file.
I havee tried a lot of parameters combinations, nothing helped.
We are using dvsdk 1.30, lsp 1.2 (i think) codec engine 2.01 and the release 1.13 jpeg production codec. Build environment is quite old, but it works for us.
