TVP7002 & DM6467 , Does VPIF of the Davinci capable of capturing VBI in non BT.656 format.

Hi All,

After running through the Davinci's VPIF section spec as well as tvp7002 I came to conclusion that getting VBI in 720p mode would be rather non-trivial task if not impossible at all. At the other hand in the TVP7002 eval board's documentation indicates that capturing of VBI data can be done ( I suspect only for the SDTV NTSC).

Any ideas ?
