MCFW grabber + bc-cat reinit = PVR hangs

Sometimes PVR hangs (and Xorg and X-application) and there is a lot messages (X-application code with bc-cat usage: http://e2e.ti.com/support/dsp/davinci_digital_media_processors/f/717/t/304966.aspx):

What does that mean?
