A pin setup for the 3-state

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: OMAP-L138

I have a question about pin setting for OMAP-L138. Does the 3-state output signal propagate inside pin? For example, PINMUX3_19_16 has 3-state and UART0_RXD. I want to set 3-state, but UART0_RXD which is not used is input pin. I also want to set PUPDENA[8] to zero, and CP[8]'s IPU/IPD is disabled. If 3-state out propagates inside pin, UART0_RXD is not good state, I think.

Please give me some advice.

  • Hi Kondo,

If the I/O pin is set to tri-stated there should be no signal propagated inside the device through that I/O pin.

    Regards
