osd parameters update

hi all. i see in the RDK when we call the function Vcap_setDynamicParamChn() to update the OSD parameters,every time we will set the all the OSD window parameters in the same channel again.so that will be update all osd window

is that ture?

if i want to one of the OSD window rolling,every time we call the Vcap_setDynamicParamChn() ,the other osd window will flash once time.how to just update the special one osd window?

OSD window parameters are channel specific for all windows.

OSD window parameters of all windows of a particular channels is accessed / used on every frame processing. Though Vcap_setDynamicParamChn() sets for all channels, flashing cannot happen unless some parameter is updated. Ensure that you are not changing the coordinates of the static window.

If you need to update parameters of a specific window of a channel, you could modify the algLink / vcap APIs accordingly; but still I dont think updating all window parameters is causing the flashing.

i create a OSD window buffer with the function Vsys_allocBuf() once a time

I am referring to the osd window for which you dont change parameters (not the rolling one) as static window.
