EVM5515 WITH ADS1298ECGFDK

Hi,

I have a TMS320C5515 EVM Board (Rev B) and an ADS1298ECG FE Board . I am following the instructions in the following URL: http://www.ti.com/general/docs/lit/getliterature.tsp?literatureNumber=sprabj1&fileType=pdf

I successfully downloaded the compiled code to the EVM and run it. But, there is no signal output on the LCD. I see "ECG Monitor\n II o HR: BPM" only on lcd panel. I have tried with and without the ECG cable connected. i am using cardiosim2 simulator with 10lead snap type cable. Can anybody suggest me what may be the problem

Also when i try to run the PC application in the online mode, even after connecting RS 232 cable the display on the PC shows "serial port disconnected".in bottom of the window.
