SPI boot without FPGA/IBL work around

Hello all.

I would appreciate if some one can provide me code/doc/link for booting simple application directly from SPI on Gauss c6657 EVM. Our customer requirement is to just make SPI boot directly without FPGA & IBL work around, directly from RBL(To make booting really fast).

I know, Gauss RBL can directly boot application from SPI(Nor). Earlier there was a work around in FPGA that redirects boot process to the IBL. All the examples in MCSDK (\ti\mcsdk_2_01_02_06\tools\boot_loader\examples) may be made keeping IBL work around in mind.

Now are there any ways to remove this work around from IBL examples? What is the process to do that.

I will forward this thread to our customer as well we will also do the test on my EVM too.

I have very little knowledge of RBL. Can it be debugged any way (Console prints or log file)? So we can have insights what it does.

This will help our customer to develop their product.
