Interrupt number field in HWI create in sysbios.cfg file

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TMS320C6746

Hi,

We are working on C6746 and CCSv5.2 with SYS-BIOS.

my quiry is "interrupt number" field when we are creating HWI through .cfg file, it can be any number between INT4-15..is it correct or not.

we are assigned UART2 HWI interrupt number as 9 and another project having 11..this means interrupt number is not fixed to perticular HWI??? or any problem with that??

  • MSR,

This is a programmable device that has many programmable settings. These are documented in several documents available on the TMS320C6746 Product Folder web page.

The support software we provide will give you examples of how to program the device. If you follow these, you will have a good working starting point for your application. Then can modify that to match the requirement for your application, whether that means using different interrupt lines or different mixes of internal and external memory.

Please look for the training material on the TI Wiki Pages. You can search for "c6748 training" (no quotes) since the C6748 is a superset of the C6746.

    Regards,
    RandyP
