Lost access to DSP memory space (globally mapped)

Hi all,

I have a big problem. II'm using OMAP3530, Gumstix Overo board.

It seems like I lost access to the whole DSP Subsystem memory access. No access to 0x5D00 0000 (IVA MMU Register), and all the RAM. I'm not running any module or other program. The kernel just panic and hangs.

From other forum, I got an suggestion that it might due to memory overlapping. But I'm not sure how to check /change configurations.

Any clues of what's going one?

Excuse me. Are you used ARM subprocessor under operating system or bare metal?

Actually I solved it. It is due to DSP not powered up.

I am running Linux on ARM.

In Technical Reference Manual given Wake Up procedure. it's procedure performed in kernel space under linux, because you can get access to DSP registers.
