Hi guys,
Is it possible to have the AM335x dev kit work with other displays than the one bundled and if so what changes need to be made under Android to make it work?
The display I have at hand is a 5" display called: "KD50G21-40NT-A1". Datasheet here: I am not aware ehat the LCD connector on the dev kit is called and if its a standard of some sort?
As I am not usually working under android I would like to avoid having write a display driver or similar. So if you know a compatible 5" display with aspect ratio of 1.666 that could work for me.
It might even be an option to find an alternative Android dev kit with such a display and work from there.
When I have sorted the display out I can get started with my real assignment, writing a SPI interface to a custom developed microprocessor.
