Primary Display LCD clonning to LCD2 in 4AJ.2.5P2 on blaze board

Hi there,

Since I have a custom board with head mountable dual display it will be proof of concept for me. I have done the display clonning in both GB and ICS similarly. Currently on JB I see the driver for the secondary lcd, is there way i can validate the functionality of this display?

I was wonder what is the way to achieve this. Clonning the content of the primary display to the secondary display. and switch to hdmi when hdmi is connected [on blaze board omap4470]

I know it can be done in HWC but currently there is no documentation as such, which gives some insight of HWC and dsscomp communication. Any help will speed up the things for me.

However HWC overrides any you write to DSS through sysfs call on a terminal but however you may start by add some read/write on them in the HWC.

Hi,

I could able to do the display cloning however the dynamic switch between HDMI and secondary LCD does not work consistently which is fine sine on custom board I'll not have the HDMI connectivity.

I have modified the HWC and used the HDMI display slot and added the routines to add the external LCD display instead of external HDMI in hwc. And respective routines added for applying the transforms of primary LCD on secondary lcd if external display is LCD otherwise HDMI transforms applied.

Also required to set overlay configuration/manager as per the LCD instead of HDMI.

If anyone needs input on the dual/display support on 4AJ2.5P2, let me know.
