Hi,

We are using sdk 1.1.0.3 on ICE AM3359,

Sdk 1.1.0.3 supports Firware update through File-Over-EtherCAT (FOE), and we were successfully able to update the firmware through twincat.

There is option to upload and download in twincat.

We want to know is SDK 1.1.0.3 supports Local file storage ?

Local file storage :where we can store about example 1MB of file in non-volatile -memory ?  this file shall be read and written through FOE.

    Hi,

    FoE is a reference implementation in SDK to show how to do firmware upgrade without disrupting the EtherCAT n/w. We do not plan to add any other feature on top of this. You can enhance current FoE implementation to add Local file storage feature in your product or contact Beckhoff for this feature support in SSC
