What device is supported by i2c-davinci.c?

Hi,

In <kernel>/drivers/i2c/busses, there is an I2C driver i2c-davinci.c. What I2C device does it support and where can I find its datasheet or usermanual?

I'm trying to debug the I2C read/write to my device and I'm told I can use the read/write functions in i2c-davinci.c so I want to find out more info about it like what's it like? What it is for? How to communicate to it? etc.

Hi Huan,

If you are using DM81xx platforms you'll have to check for i2c-omap files. I don't remember the exact files. In order to use I2C drivers you can refer some slave drivers which uses I2C bus for transfer. Ex, Audio drivers, or sensor driver etc.

It will be better if you can describe the exact problem that you are facing currently.
