How to interface an ADC with my C6713

Hi ki. 
Thanks alot for your constant guidance.
My code started working I was not connecting my board to system properly. then when I loaded the program in kit it worked fine.
Now I am stuck on a few other things.  My input Data is coming in Analog form. I need to convert the data to digital format. and then take input into the kit.
 Now I need to know how to interface an ADC with my kit. I think output of ADC will be taken at GPIOs on board. Am I correct? and is there any guide available which mentions connecting any ADC with C6713.?
If I need to start another discussion kindly refer my this post to any other active forum on which this is being discussed. It would be a great help. as when i on my start a new discussion. The replies come with very long delays.
