TI eStore no longer has EVMK2H?

Hello All,

Does anyone know the status of the EVMK2H module on the eStore?  It was there yesterday, and nada today.

http://www.ti.com/tool/EVMK2H?CMP=AFC-conv_dkmode#buy

I have been talking to TI regarding which rev is sold there and if the rework is done or not.

Happy Holidays,
johnw

  • Hi John,

Please contact your Vendor or TI FAE for information on stock.

You can click on "Contact Us" from TI's main web page and tell them where you are located so they can get you in touch with a local technical representative.  The first word in the subject should be the TI part number.

    Wish you a happy holidays.

    Thanks.

  • Hello Rajasekaran,

Is this a TI policy now regarding the EVMK2H?  I saw on the page that I put in the above post that DigiKey was going to be handling orders - but that didn't show up on that page when I loaded it again just awhile ago.

I did contact DigiKey but the person I talked to didn't seem to know much - they said I would have to order it first - for $100 more than was posted on the eStore - before they could get answers to any of my questions.  Hmmm.

Pretty sure TI had committed to making this EVM sub-$1K.

Without knowing what the revision is and if the rework is done on the board - I am not sure why anyone would get
one unless of course they have been previously involved with the project and have that knowledge apriori.

    Thanks,
    John

  • Hi John,

I will forward this to our team and get back to you as quick as possible.

    Thanks.

  • Hello Rajasekaran,

Have you heard anything from your team?

    Thanks,
    JohnW

  • Hi John

You should be able to order the EVM from the estore now. You might see an "out of stock" message, but you can ignore the message, it is being spit out because of some logistic issue, which will be resolved soon.

    Regards

    Mukul

  • Hello Mukul,

Thanks - received and says it is Rev. 3.0.

If I have done my math correctly - this has more raw processing power by a factor of 7.2X per core than an
eight processor Cray Y-MP.  Maybe I can implement the LIGHTSPEED BREAKAWAY FACTOR.  ;)

    Wow.

    Best Regards,
