AAC LC Encoder bitrate

Hi Champs,

Customer reported that the AAC LC Encoder bitrate is lower than the configuration.

When setting to 128Kbps, the real bitrate is only 125.25Kbps measured from stream. They guess that

the difference is due to ADTS header (7 byte / packet). So, they would like to confirm whether the DSP bitrate setting include the ADTS header. Thanks!

The environment is DVRRDKv3.5 that using AAC Encoder on C674x Version 01.00.01.

Hi Anfernee,

Encoder includes ADTS header bytes during bitRate allocation.

You may see 128kbps with long duration of encoding.

For what duration you are observing 125.5kbps?
