ddr3

hi all,

In uboot Iam able to get ddr3 size as 1Gb but while boot when linux calculates total memory size Iam getting only 760 MB

we are using am335x processor and 2 ddr3 chips with 512 MB x 8 each with single chip select each ddr3

I have few questions

Is their any configuration for ddr3 to be done in kernel code for ddr3
