66AK2H12 hardware guide and power pins

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: 66AK2H12

The revE datasheet says to leave the Vpp pins unconnected, but eval board has them connected to 1.8V.   Which is correct?

We're not using USB on the 66AK2H12.   I was told early that VDDUSB, VP, VPH, VPTX and DVDD33 pins can be connected to GND for this use case.    Is this still correct?

Is there any special filtering requirements on the VNWAx pins (fixed Nwell supply), or can these be tied directly to CVDD1, per the eval board?

When will the Hardware Users Guide be available for the 66AK2H12?

thanks,

Scott

  • Hi Scott,

The VPP pins should be left unconnected in designs that are using unsecure devices. If you are not using the USB the current guidance is to connect VDDUSB, VP, VPH, VPTX and DVDD33 to ground. I would suggest that you do this through zero ohm resistors but I'm the cautious type. The VNWAx pins can be connected directly to the CVDD1 power supply, no filtering is required.

We're currently editing a version of the hardware design guide for KeyStone II.  It will be published as soon as possible.
