how to view console messages on a PC terminal

if you use linux host, then you need to access /dev/<usb_serial_device_name>

setup this device inside minicom with baudrate 115200.

for windows you need to have FTD driver and putty to connect with serial communication.

  I follow your recommendation, I see the post  you show me , the  second  step 'Default page after starting Minicom'

there is no  The serial number  behind  the '  press  ctrl -a  z  for  help  on  special  keys ' so  when  I   open  the  minicom  ,I  can't   see   anything  valuable.

you need to fire "minicom -s" command in step 2. 

that is because for first time setup of minicom use.

did you see any "configuration" menu when you fire minicom -s, then select "serial port setup" and this will open window as same as step:5 in above URL, you should have to setup this parameter according to your board,

| A - Serial Device : /dev/ttyUSB1 |   <<< this maybe different for your setup, you may see your serial port in dmesg

you need to press key to setup, for setting up Bps/Par/Bits you need to press 'E', and same for others.

Why you want to send file on minicom, please explain your self briefly,  exactly what you are trying to do?

I want to make the host communicate with  the target over debug  usb ,I  want  follow  the  guide 'if  I start minicom on  my  linux  development  host  using  minicom -w  and  power  cycle  the  uevm  ,linux  will boot ',but  now  when  I  power  on  the  board  ,the  linux  can't   work    

I  know  your  meaning ,minicom -s  is   send ,   minicom -o  is   options  in  my   version,  and  I  finish  what  you  said,but   when  I  initialising   minicom  (8th step )   there  is no serial  information

"Linux can't work", there is confusion,  are you not able to see debugs logs over UART? or you are facing some problem with booting up linux?

-s key is for setup, and you can get more information related to minicom from http://linux.die.net/man/1/minicom

you need to fire "minicom" in 8th step, to see boot logs over serial USB.

If your minicom is outputing anything at all from the board? I suggest you try picocom

picocom -b115200 /dev/ttyUSB0    zero if you don’t have any other usb to serial devices.
