To boot from sd card ,but the board don't work

Hi ,everyone , Happ y Christmas Eve

I  follow the guide  when  prepare   the   sd , I don't  have  MIPI  display ,I use  the  DVI  display instead.  but it  don't  work ,can  you tell me  what  files  is  playing a  very  important   role  in  the  card  ,so  that   I  can  check  whether  is  the  error  of  the  sd.

I see the  /var/log/dmesg  ,but  it  has nothing , I see the sd ,it has  kernel file, and the  four switch1010 ,is there some  request  about   the  point  time of the power   then I   view  the  sd/rootfs/boot,  I  find  nothing  ,is  I  do something  wrong   when I  prepare  the sd

   thank  you  every  much

  • What i understand from your post is you can't see any thing on display, but from serial port you can say kernel is fully up, there will not be any changes from board side to get up other than to change switch setting,

There might be some garbage with boot args, it would be great if you paste bootargs.

  • Hi, nikunj.rudani

I  mean that  when I open  the  minicom ,I can't   connect  the board, then I install  the  glsdk  (run  the glsdk / setup.sh),it said  kerne is  copied successfully,  when I  install the glsdk ,I connect  pc  to  board with  usb  debug  and  the board is  powered on,

I  have no HDMI  display, I  link  the  board   to  the display  with  HDMI line and HDMI/DVI conversion

what  sign  when the board is  booted successfully.

how to identify  the board  when I  install  the  minicom ,

is  the process  automatic identification,or need  to  set  for myself?

    thank  you in advance

  • you need to setup it by yourself.

you can find device node from dmesg, when you attach usb to PC.

to see it fire command "dmesg" on PC , you can find similar to ttyUSB0 or something, you need to setup accordingly.
