omap4: accessing cp15 registers

hello,

new to omap4 and arm programming. trying to create a simple example to setup caches and mmu with ccs on panda board with tms470 tools and am seeing failures on the first instruction which is accessing cp15 registers - what am I doing wrong ?

i am attaching my ccs project here for reference.

run time failure where the program seems to get lost after executing the first instruction in the below routine

CP15ICacheEnable:
    MRC     p15, #0, r0, c1, c0, #0
    ORR     r0, r0, #0x00001000
    MCR     p15, #0, r0, c1, c0, #0
    BX      lr

still not able to run past the cp15 instructions but here's an updated project with mmu initialization - used am335x starterware code as reference
