Erase eMMC Flash Beagle bone Black

My suggestion: start Angstrom Linux, log into it as root and use "parted" to erase the eMMC partitions. There should be some parted HOWTOs out there when you're not familar with it.

I am bit new to BBB. What do you mean by  "log into".

I tested the Newly shipped board by just plugging in the USB cable and then the beaglebone appears as drive on windows. I connected the serial cable but it seems the debug messages are not Enabled on the UART0. so didnt see the debug messages.

I guess u are not saying to log in through command prompt.

One more way i can see is to delete the MLO file from the Drive . is it the correct apporach to force the Processor in Polling mode for searching booting Mode either the Peripheral/Memory

Hi,

when your serial cable is working correctly (3.3V version needed) and when it is wired correctly, you should see some output when your Linux boots. Using this serial connection you can log into Linux once it has booted completely.

Question is why you want to erase flash memory. In case you only want to avoid it boots fom eMMC you just need to delete/rename the MLO you can see within your USB-drive onve BBB has booted, so no need to erase the partition completely.

Are you sure the Newly shipped BBB with angstorm throws Boot Messages on terminal. Beacuse i have connected the serial debug cable from FTDI . I just came across that the OS shipped with the new BBB does not throw debug messages on UART0. Please confirm.

According to BBB Wiki it should work on these devices too. Are you sure you have a 3.3V FTDI connector? There are 5V versions out there too which would damage the port.
