How to get vdec error code in user application?

Hi , I use DVRRDK 4.0.0.3 on DM8168.  When video M3 decode occur an error, it will print the error code on console. So I want to get vdec error code in user application, because I want to monitor the vdec process, make the vdec more reliable. Thanks.
