Running NFS server on the target

Hi,

My goal is to play a video file that saved on the sd card that mounted to the DM365.I want to play it on a PC that runs windows and connected to the board with ethernet connection.

I tried running samba on the DM but it failed to run (I succedded in the cross compile procedure but after running the deamon it exit with error msg).

What are my options to do it? Can you please guide me how to do it?

Hi,

Enable NFS server & client options in kernel make menuconfig then boot the target & do the following from your hot to mount target folder into ur host machine for playing videos or anything.

host@titus-10.100.1.97# mount -t nfs 10.100.1.72:/home/bala/nfs /home/titus/nfs_bala -o rw,nolock,addr=10.100.1.72
