i saw this link,but how can i use in encoder?

and i don't know why the shold FrameInfo_Interface copy to inobj[1].bufDesc[2].buf?where shold i copy if i work in encoder ?

memcpy(inobj[1].bufDesc[2].buf,frameinfoPtr,sizeof(FrameInfo_Interface));

why is bufDesc[2] not bufDesc[3] or bufDesc[0] ?

Hi,

In two pass mode, you need to create two instances of the encoder, first one will be for lower resolution and second for higher resolution.

1st encoder collects some information about video frame, and we pass this information as input to the 2nd video encoder.

Please refer user guide and test application to know how to run.

thank you so much, i have read the user guide of h264,it have notice me how to use it,but i don't know where should i collect the information of the 1st encoder,such as after Venc1_process(hVe1, hInBuf, hOutBuf) call how can i get the info? and how can i pass to the 2nd video encoder?

if you have test in encoder,plz tell more.

Please refer h264encoderapp_stp.c file present in encoder test application folder. You can see macro SIMPLE_TWO_PASS in that file which shows changes related to two pass use case.
