Flash device in ubi format mount in /mnt, power off suddenly, why encode data can't be saved?

dear sir/lady:

    I was encoding data, then powered off, when I powered on again, I found my encode data  unsaved. My data should be saved on nand flash. But I "vi " create file in /mnt,  data can be saved when powered off suddenly.But I need create file in  next directory of  mnt .I need your help. Look forward to your reply.
