replacing matrix-gui 2 with a QT application

Hi,

I want that my QT application run in boot time instead of matrix-gui 2 . I replaced my application in rc5 instead of matrix-gui 2. but in boot time my application process created without any Display output on LCD. if i run manually my application after boot time , application GUI successfully created on LCD.

I appreciate for any Help.

Did you see any log from application, when you set rc5 with your application and boot?

I have tried it with modifying matrix-gui -2.0 and it was working but at the same time i didn't see console;

-- from where matrix-gui called ?

--how came to know which next script will run ?

Threre will be some sequence written if Yes ? where ?

normally matrix gui is called from /etc/rc5.d directory.

and script name is S99matrix-gui-2.0

as you can see from script name S99 this is last script for execution.

There are lot script previous to this one you can recognize them by name itself.

if you are novel with boot sequence than please refer this. it is well documented by TI.
