XTCIEVMK2X EVM - Ethernet boot mode - "only DSP" mode

Hi all,

I am using XTCIEVMK2X EVM. 

I want to use "only DSP" in the device and I need to use Ethernet boot mode.

In the Ethernet (SGMII) Boot Device Configuration, there is a boot master selection through bit 8.

bit 8:   1 = C66x is boot master  ;   0 = ARM is boot master (default)

If I select  C66x  as boot master, does it mean ,  the device in "only DSP" mode ? or Is there any additional setting to keep the device in "only DSP" mode ?

    Hello Rajanikanth,

    To configure the device from DSP core, you need to set the bit 8 to 1 in boot device configuration. When you boot the device from the DSP core, it is in " only DSP" mode and the ARM core is not configured and being in idle state. There is no additional setting for this.
