Difference between GP_MLO & MLO

Hi TI,

I'm working on TI DRA7xxx EVM (J6 EVM).
I'm following below link to make the working setup.

I have downloaded the Pre built images. In that I got two MLOs. one is Normal MLO & Another one is GP_MLO.

What is the difference between MLO and GP_MLO. kindly tell me how to build the GP_MLO.

Hello Ramappa,

Do you mean what is the difference between GP_MLO & HS_MLO?

If that is your qeustion then:

GP_MLO: used for booting General Purpose (GP) devices

HS_MLO: used for booting High Security (HS) devices. HS_MLO is bigger in size, since it is additionally signed with private key: see http://omappedia.org/wiki/4AJ.2.5P2_OMAP4_Jelly_Bean_Release_Notes#Building_X-LOADER_for_OMAP4470, Subsection Signing X-LOADER for HS devices.
