DM37xx Luminance Enhancement Table Documentation

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: DM3730

Hello,

I would like to get a better understanding of the DM3730's Luminance Enhancement mode, specifically how one goes about defining appropriate entries in the Luminance Enhancement table.  I have searched previously posted threads relating to this topic as well as the DM37xx technical manual, but so far have only found this brief description in the DM3730 TM's Nonlinear Luminance Enhancement section 6.4.7.1.14.2:

"Each entry contains a 10-bit signed offset value in the MSBs, and a 10-bit signed slope in the LSBs."

If there is anyone who could point me to a more detailed description or sample usage of this function that would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Sam

  • Hi Sam,

As you read TRM's sections 6.4.7.1.14.2 Nonlinear Luminance Enhancement you find the note below: Some details of this feature are not available in the public domain. This means that the full details about the Nonlinear Luminance Enhancement description are under NDA license and it necessary to contact with the local TI's sells manager to get the detailed description.
