image overlay

Is it possible to do image overlays in Starterware?

Eg placing a frequently updated image beneath a static (and transparent) one?

How can this be achieved? (any examples?)

    Hi Mark,

    It is not possible to do image overlays in Starterware.

    LCD controller displays the image avalable in the frame buffer. It will not perform any additional processing.

    If overlay is needed, then it has to be done in the software and provide the resultant frame buffer data to LCD controller  for display.
