TMDX5535EZDSP Expansion Connector

Hey Everyone,

I'm looking to connect some external I/O to this dsp kit. I'd like to connect to the analog input pins of the DSP but they can only be accessed through the expansion connector. I realize that there is a suitable connector listed but it is a surface mount type. Are there any suitable connectors that are through hole type? Thanks.

Did you try card edge connector ?

Hey man,

Thanks for responding. On the board, there's a notch in the connector. It's just a small sliver of dead space. Will a regular edge connector work, say 40x2, even with that notch there? Or will I have to go with two separate connectors?

You could use this :

Samtec MEC1-120-02-S-D-A, Digi-Key SAM8117-ND.
