HWI interrupt issues with NDK

Hi Tim,

are you using the same device as listed in the E2E post you referenced? If not, what are you using?

I am using a 6455 DSP. It seems like as soon as I enable the HWI weird things happen to the global interrupt (mainly it turns off). I was able to get the HWI firing without intc CSL, but the HWI routine did weird things. I would set a break point in the disassembly, and hit that, but not the first or sometimes second line of the routine. Tim

I'd suggest in taking a look at NDK 2.00. It has a set of examples and drivers for the C6455.

I've looked through there and I see how they make the ethernet driver HWI, but I can't seem to get any other HWI working. Is there a specific example you can point me to? I'm trying to make the HWI using BIOS.

I got a little further setting up the HWI with BIOS. However my issue is that the HWI appears to be self interrupting and if I select use dispatcher in the bios the interrupt fires, but seems to run off into the weeds as I step through it.

Any thoughts?
