Hi,

We are using AM3352 for our customized board. In our design we need to initiate the EDMA transfer on SPI0 and SPI1 Interface. Can I use a GPIO as external event trigger for EDMA transfer on SPI interface? If yes, is there any restriction to use a specific GPIO to trigger EDMA transfer on SPI0/1?

There are three dedicated external pins (XDMA_EVENT_INTR[2:0]). You can also generate DMA events from all 4 GPIO modules (1 event per module).

Hi Biser,

Thanks for your input.

We are planning to use GPIOs to trigger EDMA event. We are using GPIO1_22 and GPIO0_21 to trigger two separate DMA events. I assume this should be fine since both gpios are from different banks. Please confirm whether my understanding is correct.
