The product page of the 66AK2H14 states that the peak DSP MMACS is 352000 (at 1.2 GHz, 8 cores). As far as I can see, the CMATMPY is the most powerful instruction, and each core can do two of them per cycle (plus some additions in other units). Hence I expect a peak of 8 (cores) * 1.2 (Ghz) * 2 (instructions) * 16 (MACs) = 307200 MMACS. So where do the remaining 44800 MMACS come from?
