problem in using RS422

I am using a DSP_COMM4 daughtercard with c6713 DSK. I took the sample project from edsp website.

I interfaced a null modem cable with the two RS422 ports on the card to test it but it is not working.

I did the same for RS232 and its working.

Can some one suggest me regarding this issue?

I believe the DSP_COMM4 is this non TI product. http://www.educationaldsp.com/stockproduct_dsk_comm4.htm
The c6713 DSK is TI, so I moved the post to a better associated forum.

Hi,

Sorry for moving your thread again, but the problem you describe seems to be related to the application and not to the Code Composer Studio development tool. In this case I moved this to the device forum, as the experts here will have better insights about the peripheral functionality.

Also, did you contact the EDSP company as they are the ones that created the example project? They will have much better ideas on what may be happening in your case.

If that code is working for RS232, you need change configuration code for RS422.
And also verify the cable lines for RS422. Another option you can use the RS232 to RS422 converter.
