"Resource temporarily unavailable" Problem with ioctl call for DEQUE

Hi

I am trying to buid the sample application for capture and dispaly on DAVINCI C6467. The application is saUserPtrLoopback(providec by TI). In a loop where we are looping for dequeing and enqueing  the captured and display buffer i am getting an error,while executing the exe.  In the first iteration itself for the IOCTL call for VIDIOC_DQBUF its reporting an error that "Resource temporarily unavailable".I have no clue why this problem is appearing.

Can you provide me with some clue?

And please do tell me that is it possible to debug the code on the target using gdb?

Please suggest any method to debug the code on the target so i can analyse the problem.
