Extremely slow DSP operation

Hi!

I'm working with TMS320C64x+ intergrated into DM3730.

Linux 2.6.37 environment.

I have modified "loop" sample from "dsplink_1_65_01_05_eng" and have noticed that program on DSP side runs MUCH slower (more than ~100 times) than it should (according to generated asm code).

I suppose the reason can lie somewhere in my configuration files... Compiling options, memory mapping, ... Can anybody check files?

UPDATE:

According to: http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Enabling_64x%2B_Cache i have updated MAR registers (for my reservation 0x98000000 + 128M it means MAR152..MAR159.

Program execution now takes 9.6s instead of 600+ s. Incredible... I hope it would operate correctly now.

I hope I was right and problem is solved :) I mean I'm not 100% sure is there no any another hidden reasons.

Hi,

Using Cache,you had reduced cpu stall,and as you can see it works great.For further optimization, Use compiler optimization and along this use pragmas ,so that you can help compiler in optimizing code to greater extent.
