TMDSSK3358 WITHOUT OS

Hello,

I need to program an arm and I want to try first on starter kit TMDSSK3358.

I want to know if it's possible to program it without OS and if yes with which software and where I can find C examples.

For information in my application I need :

- External interrupt

- TIMER interrupt

- Ethernet

- ADC

Yes, you need the StarterWare package.

Regarding the tools you are going to use, you have a few options, depending on your host OS, which are pointed out under the Host platform Requirements section.

Ok I downloaded it. And I have a JTAG ICE 3. Is it ok to program and debug ? Usually I use it on lower arm.

The Starter Kit has an FTDI chip which creates JTAG and serial interface over the USB connection to Host PC. You can see additional information about the SK here: http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/AM335x_Starter_Kit.
