I need a 10 GHz square wave generator for the base drive circuit of a power transistor(MESFET). Afaik, none of the TI ARM processors have such a high processor speed. Is it possible to use the TMS320C6678 for this purpose considering the fact that it can support such speeds? If so, how should I go about with this design?

    Hi Abhishek,

    I am not sure whether you can generate a square wave of high frequency upto 10GHz using the C6678 device. The maximum frequency that the device can run is 1.2GHz, which is way less than the required clock to generate the 10GHz waveform. Hope this helps.
