I found that in Rev B on DM8114 EVM board, there is some changes to PHY circuit but there is no information about what was changed and why.
Where can I find these information?

Mans,
The DM8148 EVM has:
1. Base Board, last rev D
2. Expansion I/O board, last rev D
3. LCD Adapter board, last rev C

Is this for the Base Board? And where you found this?

Pavel
It is on base board and the information was taken from the Mistral web site last week. it is not working now.

Looks for change information between different revisions.
Mans,
Regarding the Base Board, we have Change List for Base Board : Rev C to Rev D available in the Mistral website. But you need the "Change List for Base Board: Rev A to Rev B" is that correct? If yes, I will try find it, requesting it from Mistral (as not available at their website).
Best regards,
Pavel
Yes I am looking for change list for Rev A to Rev B. I already asked Mistral about this document, but I did not get it.
In DM814x/AM387x BASE BOARD-REVC file, it stated that:
REV B REVA-Ethernet PHY section changed
I am wondering what was changed and why they made the changes.

Do you mean this file? 1307.MS_TI_CEN_BB_REVC_DDR3_PG2_SCH.pdf

If this is the file, on which page is stated that?

In this file: (Hardware User Guide Rev c)
http://www.mistralsolutions.com/component/jumi/Download_Common_Code.html?docid=717
on page: 10 table 2 (Board history).
I understand now. I will check with Mistral for this History Note.

Thanks.
Is it possible to get the schematic before these changes and after these changes? We have similar problem (unstable PHY) and the changes in the schematic can help us to solve our problem.
I notice that they removed some capacitor. Where were these capacitors?
We are using a different PHY (PEF 7071) chip but it is unstable and sometimes works for hours without problem and sometimes works for seconds. To reset the PHY chip, we need to unplug and replug the cable. No software can fix the problem.
I will check with Mistral and let you know their answer.
Best Regards,
Pavel
