Heat sink selection for C6657/5

Hi, 

My customer is evaluating the C6655/7 and want us to recommend the thermal solution for below application case.

Power consumption: c6657~3.5w, c6655~2.5w

Natural convection without forced air flow;

Ambinent temperature: 40c;

Sparse board without other heat-generating devices;

Heat sink thickness less than 8mm;

As the customer's requirement is very urgent for eval, would u pls help try to suggest the heat sink size and structure?

    Hi Andy,

    We can't do this analysis for the customer. There are many contractors that can take the customer's board file and the information provided and perform a thermal analysis. I suggest you have the customer contact their PCB house or their fabricator for a recommendation.
