Mentor USB OTG register manual

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: SYSCONFIG

Hello,

We need to understand USB OTG driver in OMAP (MUSB HDRC) and implement a high level protocol on top.

Here I read that this requires NDA signed

http://e2e.ti.com/support/arm/sitara_arm/f/791/t/189135.aspx

Would you please suggest how do we initiate this process ?

Here I read that there is a limited information similar to what we need:

http://e2e.ti.com/support/arm/sitara_arm/f/791/t/189135.aspx

Is there something similar for OMAP4460 ?

Thanks,

Alexander

  • Hello Alexander,

Could you be more specific? USB OTG is a third party IP as stated in device TRM (it is possible that the information you require is protected by legal agreement between ti & mentor graphics).

In OMAP4460 TRM there are the following registers described, that control the functionality of  HS USB OTG:

    OTG_REVISION
    OTG_SYSCONFIG
    OTG_SYSSTATUS
    OTG_INTERFSEL
    OTG_SIMENABLE
    OTG_FORCESTDBY
    OTG_BIGENDIAN

Also ip functionality is pretty well described in Section 23.12.4 High-Speed USB OTG Controller Functional Description of OMAP4460 TRM.

Additional information regarding USB OTG IP can be found on Mentor Graphics website: http://www.mentor.com/products/ip/usb/
