Enable LCD backlight problem

Hi,

I tried running the Starterware and BSL codes provided for OMAP kit , in both the codes everytime I try enable the LCD backlight, the Omap kit loses power .

Any Solutions ???

    Hi Vaishak,

    Are you facing this issues from the beginning or just now?

    Are you using the same DC power adapter provided by Logic PD ?

    Did you made any modifications in the board ?

    OMAP-kit loses power means ? there is volatge drop ,short circuit or board reset's when you enbale the LCD backlight ?

    Hi Antony,

         We have two boards of LOGIC PD ZOOM OMAPL138 of which one is working absolutely fine , where as the other is facing this problem ?

    In the raster_init() function of BSL and setuplcd() function of starterware ,whenever the code exits the above said function a function will be displayed on console of CCS stating "Target powerloss :  reset the board or reconnect the power supply ".

    Although the board would still be getting the power supply.

    In the entire board this is the only feature that we are not able to test fully.
