Hi,
TI has declared the EZSDK to be NRND over at http://www.ti.com/tool/linuxezsdk-davinci, and recommended the use of the RDK. So we have started looking into the DVRRDK 04.01.00.02.
The DVRRDK documentation claims that the kernel comes from Arago, the 2010.06_TI81XXPSP_04.04.00.02.pacth1 release. But when I compare the kernel to what's in Arago I find that it has additional changes. Some of these changes look like Arago changes, and are probably described by the patches contained with the RDK at DVRRDK_04.01.00.02/ti_tools/linux_lsp/kernel/linux-dvr-rdk/temp/. But there appear to be other RDK-specific changes as well, like customization for the MACH_UD8168_DVR. Are the individual patches for these commits available? Or, is there some git repo for the DVRRDK version of u-boot and kernel where I can get the patches myself?
Also - how can we know when there is a new version of DVRRDK available? Is there a place where this is announced? Or do we have have to continually pester our FAE for status updates?
Thanks,
Dan -
